What you'll do

Embark on a game drive across the floodplains of Uganda's oldest and largest conservation area, Murchison Falls. The diversity of wildlife is staggering and as your guide whispers pieces of trivia, you'll spot everything from leopard, giraffe and hyena to all but one of the Big Five (all Uganda's rhinos are at Ziwa Sanctuary). There are a number of routes to take but the most popular is along the Nile's northern banks to spy on the dazzling birdlife and prowling big cats from your jeep. The Delta Point is a perfect and very scenic place to stop for drinks before heading back. The best time for seeing the most wildlife is during the dry season when the grass is short and they travel for miles to drink at the river.
