A: My honeymoon in South Africa was one of my most memorable trips. We had one of the most magical days in the Cape Winelands at La Residence, and everything about the day was slow, relaxing, beautiful and just joyous! It was pure bliss. My other favourite was being there to experience my dad’s first safari in Kenya. That will forever be a core memory – to show my dad what I get to experience and speak about on a daily basis.
A: Where do we start? There are so many! Shoulder season doesn't mean a sub-par experience. The number of advantages shoulder seasons provide is incredible – fewer tourists, stunning scenery, more availability for a wider range of camps, and specials at top properties. So many guests want to go on safari when it's conventionally the best weather, but sometimes the best experiences and game viewing are in those shoulder seasons when there isn’t as much travel.
A: Botswana and the Seychelles. The magic of safari is definitely my favourite 'vacation', and Botswana offers the dream safari. From remote mobile camps to some of the most luxurious camps in the world, the country offers everything and with some of the most epic wildlife. On the contrary, I am an absolute sucker for some R&R time and nothing sounds more idyllic than the stunning islands of the Seychelles.
